You don’t need this course unless you live in a really homogenous country or school in a community that is very monocultural. Your child needs an element of cultural awareness.
How?
The videos will first engage kids, then reading the course will give a deeper understanding of the topic, through a detailed step-by-step program.
How Long Does the Course Last?
How long is a piece of string? Training can be as short as 1 hour or as long as 1 week or more. The length of the course is usually determined by your child, time, commitment, and personal practicality.
Why does Your Child Need to be Culturally Aware?
How you become culturally aware is going to depend on why.
Why do you want your child to learn about culture? About differences? What’s the purpose?
Is it for school, project, or relationship building? Is it so that you want them to learn how to collaborate with multicultural children? Or is it because you’re going to travel the world and visit lots of new countries with them? Or are you a teacher with students from around the world?
There are so many reasons why people need to be culturally aware – so ask yourself, what’s your reason?
Once you have identified this, it’s going to make it easier to focus on what you need to find or learn about.
It is important for kids in this day and age to have cognisance of other cultures and their heritage.
